Founded in 1990, MAKAN Design Studio is a multidisciplinary interior architecture and design practice that bridges cultural awareness with contemporary expression. Founder & Creative Director
Amal Alsudairy is a Saudi interior architect, interior designer, and artist whose work seamlessly bridges cultural heritage with contemporary expression. With over three decades of experience, her design language spans classic, modern, ultra-modern, and minimalist aesthetics, thoughtfully incorporating Arabesque influences when projects call for cultural depth and refined identity.
Grounded in an artistic practice that includes abstract art, Arabic calligraphy, and bronze sculptures, she approaches each project as both interior architecture and storytelling. Guided by intuition and empathy, Amal creates timeless spaces that reflect the personality, aspirations, and spirit of those who inhabit them.
